Finally Amazon has announced its first smartphone "Fire Phone" at an event of Seattle

Finally Amazon has announced its first smartphone "Fire Phone" at an event of Seattle. It comes with few new smart features.Amazon Fire run on Amazon basedFire OS, forked version of Android.






The smartphone has 4.7-inch ISP screen with Gorilla Glass on both the front and the back and "precise" aluminum buttons. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Quad core processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It packed with 2GB RAM.


It has a 13 megapixel rear camera with image stabilization and f2.0 lens and dual stereo speakers. Fire phone offers unlimited free photo storage on Amazon Cloud. It also has an new feature: Firefly. This feature lets you scan any product, music, tv show playing in background and then buy it from Amazon. This feature can be activated via a dedicated physical button. To provide fitness related information, Amazon has integrated MyFitnessPal with Firefly. Firefly can see arts and then pull up information from Wikipedia. Company claims that it can identify 100 million different items. The feature will also let you snap bar codes, phone numbers and more.

It is priced at $199(32GB) and $299(64GB).
